Westminster Cathedral Choir

The Westminster Cathedral Choir stands as one of the world's most renowned choral ensembles, celebrated for its daily liturgical performances within the grand setting of Westminster Cathedral in London. Founded in 1901, the choir has a rich history of musical excellence, thanks in part to the pioneering efforts of its first Master of Music, Sir Richard Terry, who revitalized the works of the English and continental Renaissance. Under the leadership of esteemed directors such as David Hill, James O’Donnell, Martin Baker, and the current Master of Music, Simon Johnson, the choir continues to inspire with its captivating performances and innovative recordings.
