Nicolaus Richter de Vroe is a celebrated German composer and violinist, born in 1955 in Halle an der Saale. Renowned for his innovative works, Richter de Vroe has captivated audiences worldwide with his compositions and performances. As the first violinist of the esteemed Gringolts Quartet, which he founded in 2008, he has shared the stage with leading orchestras such as the St. Petersburg Philharmonic. His music has been featured in prestigious festivals and venues, earning him a reputation as a significant voice in contemporary classical music. Richter de Vroe's discography includes a portrait CD released in 1996, showcasing five of his selected works.
