Ferdinando Faraò

Ferdinando Faraò, born in Rome in 1959, is a dynamic force in the world of jazz, known for his versatile talents as a drummer, composer, and orchestra director. Hailing from a renowned family of jazz musicians, Faraò is the brother of pianist Antonio Faraò and cousin of pianist Massimo Faraò. His journey began in 1979 at Milan's Capolinea, and since then, he has made a significant impact both as a sideman and a leader. Faraò's work is marked by innovation and depth, exemplified by his project Artchipel Orchestra, which blends composition and direction in a unique musical exploration.
