He began his artistic journey in 1943, at the age of 20, and continued to create and inspire until his centenary. Fırat's work spans various genres, including arias, string quartets, and piano pieces, some of which are featured on albums like "İdil Biret 20th Century Piano Edition" and "The Best of Turkish Piano Music." His creations reflect a deep appreciation for both tradition and innovation, as he believed in not just understanding the past but also in creating the new. Fırat's artistic versatility and enduring legacy make him a remarkable figure in Turkish culture.
