Alice Neary is a distinguished British cellist renowned for her versatile and captivating performances. As the principal cellist of the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and a member of the esteemed Gould Piano Trio, she has earned accolades such as the Pierre Fournier Award and major prizes in the Leonard Rose International Cello Competition. Alice's career spans solo performances with leading orchestras, chamber music collaborations, and recordings, including the complete trios by Brahms. Her passion for chamber music is evident in her roles with the London Haydn Quartet and frequent appearances at the International Musicians Seminar. Beyond performing, Alice is also a dedicated tutor at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, sharing her expertise with the next generation of musicians.
