Angelo Verploegen is a versatile Dutch jazz trumpeter, flugelhorn player, and composer, born on December 22, 1961, in Oss. Emerging in the late 1980s, he has since made a significant impact on the Dutch jazz scene with his lyrical and expressive playing. A graduate of the Amsterdam University with a degree in Musicology and a trained trumpeter, Angelo has also shared his expertise as a professor at the Conservatories of Arnhem and Utrecht.
