      Album Details

Immerse yourself in the world of Antonio Rosetti with "Vitae Pomeranorum, Vol. 1," a captivating collection of symphonies that showcase the composer's mastery of the classical form. Released on November 4, 2014, under the RecArt label, this album spans a full hour of enchanting music, divided into three symphonies, each offering a unique journey through the emotional landscape of Rosetti's compositions.

The album opens with the Symphony in C Major, Op. 3 No. 1, a four-movement work that begins with a stately Adagio, followed by a lively Allegro molto. The second movement, a gentle Adagio, provides a moment of respite before the spirited Menuetto and the energetic Finale. The Symphony in D Major, Op. 3 No. 2, follows a similar structure, with its Allegro moderato and Andantino movements offering a blend of vigor and tenderness. The Menuet and the playful Allegretto capriccio bring this symphony to a delightful close.

The final symphony, in G Minor, A42/K.I:27, presents a more introspective side of Rosetti. The Vivace opens with a sense of urgency, while the Menuetto fresco provides a refreshing contrast. The Andante ma allegretto and the Finale, with its Capriccio, allegretto scherzante, complete this symphony with a sense of resolution and playfulness.

"Vitae Pomeranorum, Vol. 1" is not just an album; it's an exploration of Rosetti's symphonic genius, offering a rich tapestry of sounds and emotions that will captivate any classical music enthusiast. Whether you're a long-time fan of Rosetti or a newcomer to his work, this album is sure to leave a lasting impression.
