      Ludwig Güttler, born on June 13, 1943, is a renowned German virtuoso celebrated for his mastery of the Baroque trumpet, piccolo trumpet, and corno da caccia. Known affectionately as "the Pavarotti of wind instruments" and the "King of Trumpets," Güttler's musical prowess extends beyond his instrumental skills. As a conductor, he has founded several ensembles, notably the chamber orchestra Virtuosi Saxoniae.
