      About Marco Tamburini

      Marco Tamburini, born in Cesena, Italy, in 1959, was a virtuoso jazz trumpet player and composer whose music left an indelible mark on the international jazz scene. After studying under the esteemed Elio Comandini and graduating from the Conservatorio Giovanni Battista Martini in Bologna, Tamburini began his professional career in 1984. His eclectic style and mastery of the trumpet earned him collaborations with jazz legends such as Enrico Rava, Paolo Fresu, and Steve Coleman. Tamburini's discography, including notable works like "Feather Touch" and "Frenico," showcases his versatility and innovative approach to jazz.
