The World Is Yours - Motörhead

      Album Details

Motörhead, the legendary British rock band, unleashes their twentieth studio album, "The World Is Yours," a raw and unapologetic collection of hard-hitting tracks that solidify their status as heavy metal icons. Released initially as an exclusive edition on December 14, 2010, and later as a standard release on January 17, 2011, this album is a testament to the band's enduring legacy and their ability to deliver powerful, high-energy rock 'n' roll.

"The World Is Yours" features ten relentless tracks, each showcasing Motörhead's signature sound—a blend of heavy metal, speed metal, and hard rock that has captivated fans for decades. The album opens with "Born To Lose," a blistering introduction that sets the tone for the rest of the record. Standout tracks like "Devils In My Head" and "Outlaw" highlight the band's knack for crafting anthems that resonate with rebellion and defiance. The album also includes a cover of Chuck Berry's "Rock 'N' Roll Music," proving that Motörhead can pay homage to their influences while still maintaining their unique edge.

This album is dedicated to the late Ronnie James Dio, a tribute that adds a layer of depth and respect to the record. "The World Is Yours" is not just another album in Motörhead's discography; it's a statement of their unyielding spirit and their commitment to delivering top-notch rock music. With a runtime of just under 40 minutes, every second is packed with the raw energy and intensity that Motörhead is known for. Whether you're a long-time fan or new to their music, "The World Is Yours" is an essential addition to any rock enthusiast's collection.

      About Motörhead

Motörhead, the legendary English rock band, stormed onto the scene in 1975, forged by the iconic bassist and vocalist Lemmy Kilmister, along with guitarist Larry Wallis and drummer Lucas Fox. Known for their raw, high-energy performances and Lemmy's distinctive growl, Motörhead is often hailed as a pioneer of the new wave of British heavy metal, revitalizing the genre in the late 1970s and early 1980s. With a lineup that saw several guitarists and drummers, the band's most celebrated works feature the dynamic duo of drummer Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor and guitarist "Fast" Eddie Clarke. From 1995 until their breakup in 2015, the group solidified with Kilmister, guitarist Phil Campbell, and drummer Mikkey Dee, delivering some of their most powerful and enduring music. Motörhead's legacy is one of unbridled intensity and unapologetic rock 'n' roll, making them a beloved and influential force in the world of heavy metal and hard rock.
