Immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of classical music with "The Glenn Dicterow Collection, Vol. 2," a captivating album released by the New York Philharmonic on June 3, 2014. This collection showcases the extraordinary talent of Glenn Dicterow, the highly-regarded concertmaster for the New York Philharmonic until his retirement. The album spans a duration of 1 hour and 33 minutes, featuring 10 meticulously crafted tracks that highlight Dicterow's virtuosity and the orchestra's unparalleled artistry.

The movements, ranging from "Phaedrus - Pausanias" to "Socrates - Alcibiades," offer a journey through various emotional landscapes, showcasing the orchestra's dynamic range and Dicterow's expressive playing.

The album also includes the "Violin Concerto, Op. 14" by Erich Wolfgang Korngold, a work that highlights Dicterow's technical prowess and lyrical sensitivity. The collection concludes with "Carmen Fantasie," a vibrant and engaging piece that leaves the listener with a sense of exhilaration.

Conducted by renowned maestros such as Lorin Maazel, Leonard Bernstein, Kurt Masur, and Zubin Mehta, this album is a testament to the collaborative brilliance of the New York Philharmonic and Glenn Dicterow.
