      Jah Stitch, born Melbourne James on July 27, 1949, in Kingston, Jamaica, was a pioneering reggae deejay whose music reached its peak in the mid-1970s. Beginning his career singing in a music yard alongside legends like Roy Shirley and Stranger Cole, Jah Stitch later became renowned for his dynamic deejay performances. His discography, spanning genres like roots reggae, lovers rock, and dub, includes iconic tracks such as "Bury The Barber" and "Give Jah The Glory." Jah Stitch's contributions to Jamaican music left a lasting impact, and his legacy continues to inspire fans and artists alike. He passed away on April 28, 2019, at the age of 69.
