      Album Details

Floraleda Sacchi's "Suite en Duo" is a captivating exploration of minimalist music, released on March 26, 2007, under Universal Music Italia Srl. This album is a testament to Sacchi's virtuosity and her ability to blend the delicate timbres of the flute and harp into a cohesive and enchanting musical journey.

The album opens with a haunting arrangement of Erik Satie's "Gymnopédie No. 1," setting the tone for the diverse range of compositions that follow. Sacchi's interpretations of Astor Piazzolla's "Histoire du Tango" are particularly noteworthy, each piece painting a vivid sonic portrait of a different era in tango history. The suite "Suite en Duo" showcases Sacchi's original compositions, offering a blend of rhythmic complexity and melodic beauty.

The album also features Sacchi's own composition, "Enchanted Dawn," a serene and evocative piece that highlights her skill as both a composer and a performer. The album concludes with her rendition of Jean-Michel Damase's "Sonata per flauto e arpa," a work that demands technical prowess and emotional depth, both of which Sacchi delivers with aplomb.

With a total runtime of 75 minutes, "Suite en Duo" is a substantial and rewarding listen, offering a rich tapestry of sounds and styles that showcase the unique capabilities of the flute and harp duo. Floraleda Sacchi's mastery of her instruments and her keen interpretive skills make this album a standout in the minimalist genre.
