      About Alison Balsom

      Alison Balsom, an acclaimed English trumpet soloist, arranger, producer, and music educator, has captivated audiences worldwide with her virtuosic performances and innovative approach to classical music. Born in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, Balsom's musical journey began at an early age, leading her to study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Her impressive career includes being named Artist of the Year at the 2013 Gramophone Awards, winning multiple Classic BRIT Awards and German Echo Awards, and performing as a soloist at the BBC Last Night of the Proms in 2009.
