      Album Details

Raphaël Feuillâtre's "Guitar Recital" is a captivating journey through the world of classical guitar, released on July 4, 2018, under Jsm Guitar Records. This 50-minute album showcases Feuillâtre's exceptional skill and versatility, presenting a diverse collection of pieces that span from Baroque to contemporary compositions.

The album opens with a masterful arrangement of Bach's Partita No. 2 in C Minor, expertly adapted for guitar by Thomas Manoukian. Feuillâtre's interpretation brings a fresh perspective to this timeless work. The album then transitions into the enchanting "Aquarelle" suite, composed by Feuillâtre himself, which offers a delicate and introspective exploration of various musical moods.

A significant portion of the album is dedicated to Isaac Albéniz's "8 Valses Poeticos," arranged by Feuillâtre. These valses are a delightful blend of elegance, humor, and sentiment, each one unique and full of character. Feuillâtre's arrangements breathe new life into these classic pieces, highlighting the guitar's expressive capabilities.

The album also includes Feuillâtre's own "Variations on a Theme by Scriabin," demonstrating his compositional prowess and his ability to blend different musical influences seamlessly. The recital concludes with "Triaela: III. Clown Down (Gismonti au cirque)," a lively and playful piece that showcases Feuillâtre's technical virtuosity.

Throughout the album, Raphaël Feuillâtre's playing is marked by a deep musicality and a keen sense of phrasing, making this recital a truly engaging listening experience. Whether you're a classical guitar enthusiast or simply appreciate beautiful music, this album is sure to captivate and inspire.
