      About Eddie Higgins

      Eddie Higgins, born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, was a versatile and accomplished jazz pianist, composer, and orchestrator whose career spanned various styles within the genre. His notable contributions include the score and performance in the 1959 film "Cry of Jazz," which is archived in the Library of Congress' National Film Registry.
