Freddie De Tommaso is a rising star in the opera world, captivating audiences with his powerful tenor voice and charismatic stage presence. Born to British and Italian parents, De Tommaso's musical journey began at the Royal Academy of Music, where he honed his craft and graduated as a member of the prestigious Royal Academy Opera. His big break came in 2021 when he stepped in as Cavaradossi in the Royal Opera's production of Tosca at just 28 years old, leaving a lasting impression on the opera scene.

De Tommaso's debut album, "Passione," released in 2021, made him the first solo tenor in two decades to debut at No.1 in the classical albums chart, showcasing his impressive vocal range and emotional depth. His repertoire spans Italian and Neapolitan songs, and he is particularly renowned for his interpretations of Puccini's works. In addition to his singing career, De Tommaso has also ventured into presenting, hosting a special series celebrating the classical music of Italy for Classic FM.

With accolades such as the First Prize, the Plácido Domingo Tenor Prize, and the Verdi Prize at the 2018 Tenor Viñas Competition, De Tommaso is signed to Decca Classics and continues to enchant audiences with his passionate performances and captivating storytelling.
