The album features two grand sonatas and six pieces for piano, performed exquisitely by Laurent Martin and Thierry Ravassard. The Grand Sonata No. 1 in E Minor, Op. 7, opens with an "Allegro espressivo" that sets the stage for a journey through Onslow's musical genius. The Romanza and Finale (Agitato) that follow are equally compelling, demonstrating Onslow's ability to convey a range of emotions through his music.
