Born in Aalborg in 1963, Søren Sko gained fame as part of the iconic pop-rock duo Sko/Torp, which he formed with guitarist Palle Torp in 1989. Together, they released seven albums and sold approximately 400,000 copies in Denmark, becoming a staple of the Danish music scene. Søren Sko's journey began at a young age, moving to Hammel with his family and later adopting his stage name from his father's shoemaking profession. Before Sko/Torp, Søren honed his skills as a backing vocalist for notable artists like Poul Krebs and Sanne Salomonsen.
