Bobo Stenson, born Bo Gustav Stenson in 1944, is a revered Swedish jazz pianist and composer, celebrated for his subtle, humorous shadings and earthy style. Growing up in Västerås, Stenson's interest in jazz was sparked by his drummer brother, leading him to perform with local musicians and eventually join Börje Fredriksson's quartet.
