      Album Details

Goblin, the legendary Italian progressive rock band, reunites to deliver a chilling and atmospheric soundtrack for Dario Argento's 2001 thriller, "Non ho sonno." This album marks the return of the iconic lineup that previously collaborated with Argento on the classic "Profondo Rosso," featuring Claudio Simonetti on keyboards, Massimo Morante on guitar, Fabio Pignatelli on bass, and Agostino Marangolo on drums.

"Non ho sonno" is a masterclass in blending progressive rock and krautrock elements, creating a sonic landscape that perfectly complements the film's eerie and suspenseful narrative. The album opens with the haunting title track, "Non ho sonno," setting the tone for the unsettling journey that follows. Standout tracks like "Killer On the Train" and "Death Farm" showcase Goblin's signature sound, with driving rhythms, eerie synths, and powerful guitar riffs that build tension and dread.

Recorded and mixed at Acquario Studio and DHS Studio in Roma, the album benefits from a rich, immersive sound that brings the music to life. The 12-page booklet included with the CD release provides insights into the making of the soundtrack, adding depth to the listening experience.

Fans of Goblin and Dario Argento's previous collaborations will find much to love in "Non ho sonno," as the band's distinctive style shines through in every track. Whether you're a longtime fan or new to Goblin's music, this album offers a captivating exploration of the band's unique blend of genres and their enduring influence on the world of film soundtracks.
