      Dave Liebman's latest endeavour, New Now, is a captivating album that embodies the essence of free jazz, jazz, and jazz fusion. Released on 16 December 2022 via Meta Records, this 59-minute masterpiece features a unique collaboration with Adam Rudolph and Tyshawn Sorey. The album is a testament to the trio's innovative approach to music, as they weave together ancestral codes from the past and thought-provoking patterns that point to a multi-dimensional future.

      Recorded live at New York City's iconic Jazz Gallery in the fall of 2021, New Now is a sonic tapestry that resides completely in the present moment. The album's seven tracks, titled Part 1 to Part 7, showcase the trio's inspired and spirited dialogue, with Liebman's soprano saxophone, piano, and flute work complemented by Rudolph's drum set, percussion, and live electronics, and Sorey's drum set and piano.

      As a renowned saxophonist, Dave Liebman has consistently pushed the boundaries of jazz, and New Now is no exception. With Adam Rudolph and Tyshawn Sorey, he has created an album that is both a reflection of their individual talents and a collective celebration of the genre.
