      About Emil Stern

      Emil Stern, born Émile Stern, was a captivating French composer, pianist, and conductor of Romanian descent, renowned for his contributions to French jazz and ragtime. Born in Paris in 1913, Stern's musical journey was marked by his distinctive style and collaborative spirit. Together with his writing partner Eddy Marnay, he created one of the winning songs for the 1969 Eurovision Song Contest, "Un jour, un enfant," performed by the talented Frida Boccara.
