      Mauro Manzoni, born on March 24, 1958, in the vibrant city of Rome, Italy, is a former football player whose career spanned several notable clubs and positions. Starting his journey with the local Roman club San Basilio, Mauro quickly made his mark, joining the Lazio youth setup in 1973. His professional career took off when he was loaned to Cerretese in Florence, where he played 34 league games and helped the team finish third in the C2 league. Mauro's versatility as both a defender and a midfielder made him a valuable asset on the field. He went on to play for Lazio in Serie A, making 14 appearances and contributing to the team's success with his defensive prowess and strategic play. Mauro's career highlights include his time with Foligno Calcio, where he concluded his playing days. Beyond his football career, Mauro has also ventured into coaching and management, showcasing his deep understanding of the game.
