Paweł Mykietyn is a celebrated Polish composer and clarinetist, born on May 20, 1971, in Oława. Recognized as one of the most esteemed mid-generation composers in Poland, Mykietyn has made significant contributions to the music world, both as a performer and a creator. He studied at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw under the renowned professor Włodzimierz Kotoński. Mykietyn's work extends beyond composition; he has served as the music director of the Nowy Teatr in Warsaw since 2008 and is a member of both the Polish and European Film Academies.
