      Miroslav Vitouš is a pioneering Czech jazz bassist renowned for his innovative contributions to the genre. As a founding member of the legendary ensemble Weather Report, Vitouš has left an indelible mark on jazz fusion, blending intricate compositions with a rich, lyrical tone. His solo work, particularly his Atlantic album produced by Herbie Mann, showcases his mastery of the double bass alongside collaborations with jazz greats such as Joe Henderson, John McLaughlin, and Herbie Hancock.
