Talk Talk, formed in London in 1981, began as a synth-pop group, quickly gaining traction with their debut album "The Party's Over" and follow-up "It's My Life," both of which spawned international hits like "Talk Talk" and "It's My Life." The band's 1986 album "The Colour of Spring" was a critical success, featuring the beloved singles "Life's What You Make It" and "Living in Another World." Their 1988 release "Spirit of Eden" marked a bold shift towards a more atmospheric and improvisational sound, laying the groundwork for the post-rock genre.
