      Roby Lakatos is a virtuoso violinist hailing from Hungary, renowned for his extraordinary stylistic versatility and scorching performances. Born into a legendary family of Romani musicians, Lakatos is the seventh generation of direct descendants from János Bihari, the famous "King of Gypsy Violinists" who influenced the likes of Beethoven, Brahms, and Liszt. Combining jazz, classical, and Hungarian Romani music, Roby Lakatos creates an "unorthodox gypsy fusion" that blends Hungarian gypsy, Balkan, and jazz influences into a unique and captivating sound.
