      About Peter Erskine

      Peter Erskine is a renowned American jazz drummer, celebrated for his dynamic contributions to the genre and his influential role in jazz fusion. Born in Somers Point, New Jersey, in 1954, Erskine began his musical journey at the tender age of four, quickly ascending to the forefront of world-class jazz. He is best known for his tenure with the legendary band Weather Report and his work with the fusion group Steps Ahead.
