      Joe Morello, born in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1928, was an American jazz drummer renowned for his extraordinary technique and versatility. He is best known for his tenure with the Dave Brubeck Quartet, where his intricate and precise playing became a hallmark of the group's sound.
