      Album Details

Immerse yourself in a captivating journey through the works of Gordon Jacob, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Jacques Ibert with this enchanting album. Gordon Jacob's Sextet is a masterful composition that unfolds in five distinct movements, each offering a unique blend of elegance and dynamism. From the poignant Elegiac prelude to the lively Rondo with epilogue, Jacob's Sextet is a testament to his exceptional skill and creativity.

Complementing Jacob's Sextet is Mozart's Divertimento No. 14 in B-Flat Major, K. 270. This four-movement work is a delightful showcase of Mozart's genius, featuring the Allegro molto's energetic opening, the Andantino's tender melody, the Minuet's graceful charm, and the Presto's exhilarating finale.

Rounding out the album are Jacques Ibert's Trios Pièces Brèves, three concise yet expressive pieces that highlight Ibert's ability to convey deep emotion in a short span. The Allegro's vivacious energy, the Andante's serene beauty, and the Assez lent's contemplative mood create a perfect conclusion to this diverse and engaging collection.

Recorded in 2000 by the esteemed label Maestoso, this album offers a total duration of 36 minutes of exquisite music. Whether you're a seasoned classical music enthusiast or a newcomer to the genre, this album is sure to captivate and inspire.
