      Intimamente Tango - Floraleda Sacchi

      Album Details

Floraleda Sacchi, a renowned harpist, invites you into the passionate world of tango with her 2015 album "Intimamente Tango". Collaborating with the equally talented violinist Maristella Patuzzi, Sacchi presents a captivating collection of works by the legendary Astor Piazzolla. The album, released under Universal Music Italia, is a testament to the minimalist genre, with each track meticulously crafted to evoke the essence of tango.

Spanning a duration of 1 hour and 13 minutes, the album features 17 tracks that traverse the seasons, from the vibrant "Verano porteño" to the introspective "Inverno porteño". The duo's rendition of Piazzolla's "Libertango" is a standout, showcasing the raw energy and precision of their performance. The album also includes the enchanting "Ave Maria" and the poignant "Oblivion", offering a diverse range of emotions and rhythms.

"Intimamente Tango" is not just a musical experience but a journey through the evolution of tango, from its humble beginnings in the brothels of 1900 to its grandeur in the concert halls of 1990. The album's liner notes include a disclaimer, highlighting the unique chemistry between Sacchi and Patuzzi, who share a striking resemblance and a deep musical connection.

Whether you're a seasoned classical music enthusiast or a newcomer to the world of tango, "Intimamente Tango" promises an engaging and immersive listening experience. Sacchi's mastery of the harp and Patuzzi's virtuosity on the violin come together to create a sound that is both intimate and powerful, making this album a true celebration of Piazzolla's timeless compositions.
