      Bill Evans' latest release, 'In Norway: The Kongsberg Concert', is a captivating album that showcases the legendary pianist's unique talent. Recorded on 26 June 1970 at the Kongsberg Jazz Festival in Norway, this previously unreleased performance features Evans alongside his trusted companions, bassist Eddie Gomez and drummer Marty Morell. The trio's synergy is palpable as they deliver 13 exquisite tracks, including 'Come Rain or Come Shine', 'Autumn Leaves', and 'Nardis'.

      With audio transferred from the original stereo tape reels and mastered by Matthew Lutthans at the Mastering Lab, the sound quality is nothing short of brilliant. The album is a testament to Evans' skill and artistry, as he navigates complex melodies and harmonies with ease. The relaxed atmosphere of the concert is evident, with Evans and his trio sounding completely at home as they perform with precision and passion.
