      About Joseph Horovitz

      Joseph Horovitz, the Austrian-born British composer, was a master craftsman who left an indelible mark on a wide range of musical genres. Born in Vienna in 1926, Horovitz's family fled to England, where he flourished as a pianist, conductor, and composer. Horovitz is perhaps best known for his 1970 children's cantata "Captain Noah and His...".
