      About Sol Gabetta

      Sol Gabetta is a celebrated Argentine cellist renowned for her radiant solo performances and exquisite recordings. Born into a musical family with French and Russian ancestry, Sol's talent was nurtured from a young age. Her father, Andrés Gabetta, and mother, Irène Timacheff-Gabetta, instilled in her a deep love for music, and her brother, Andrés, is also a distinguished baroque violinist. Sol's career has taken her around the world, captivating audiences with her superb legato and enchanting interpretations, particularly of late Romantic and contemporary works. She made her debut with the prestigious Berliner Philharmoniker in 2014, further cementing her status as one of the most successful cellists of today.
