      Benny Bailey, born Ernest Harold Bailey on August 13, 1925, in Cleveland, Ohio, was a pioneering American jazz trumpeter renowned for his mastery of bebop and hard bop. He is perhaps best known for his electrifying contributions to the iconic Eddie Harris/Les McCann album "Swiss Movement."
