      Eduardo Fernández, born in 1952 in Uruguay, is a renowned classical guitarist, composer, and teacher who has made a significant impact on the world of classical music. Beginning his guitar studies at the tender age of seven, Eduardo's musical journey was shaped by esteemed mentors such as Abel Carlevaro and Guido Santórsola. His prowess on the guitar has earned him prestigious awards, including victories at the 1972 Porto Alegre and 1975 Radio France competitions. Beyond his solo career, Eduardo is also a dedicated educator and arranger, contributing to the musical community through his work with Núcleo Música Nueva De Montevideo since 1992. His artistry continues to inspire, making him one of today's leading guitarists.
