      Album Details

François-René Duchâble, the renowned French pianist, presents an extraordinary collection of classical masterpieces in his upcoming album "Grand Piano, Grand Horizons," set to release on September 22, 2025, under Warner Classics. This expansive three-hour and forty-minute journey through the world of classical piano showcases Duchâble's virtuosity and deep connection with the repertoire.

The album features a diverse selection of works from some of the most celebrated composers in history, including Chopin, Liszt, Bach, Beethoven, and Rachmaninoff. Duchâble's interpretations of Chopin's études and nocturnes are particularly noteworthy, demonstrating his technical brilliance and emotional depth. The album also includes lesser-known gems, such as Saint-Saëns' études and Poulenc's concertos, highlighting Duchâble's adventurous spirit and commitment to exploring the full range of the classical piano repertoire.

Throughout the album, Duchâble's playing is characterized by its clarity, precision, and expressive power. His performances of Brahms' clarinet sonatas, with their rich, singing melodies and intricate counterpoint, are particularly striking. "Grand Piano, Grand Horizons" is not just a showcase of Duchâble's technical prowess, but also a testament to his deep understanding of the classical piano repertoire. His performances are imbued with a sense of history and tradition, as well as a fresh, modern perspective that makes them feel vibrant and alive. Whether you're a seasoned classical music fan or a newcomer to the genre, this album is sure to captivate and inspire.
