      About Heiner Goebbels

      Heiner Goebbels is a visionary German composer and conductor, born in 1952, who has made a significant impact on the world of avant-garde music and theater. Known for his interdisciplinary approach, Goebbels pushes the boundaries of music theater with provocative pieces that blend live performances with electronics, creating a unique and immersive experience. His works, such as "Stifters Dinge" and "Hashirigaki," have been critically acclaimed and recognized as some of the greatest classical compositions of the 21st century. In addition to his composing, Goebbels is a respected professor at the Institute for Applied Theatre Studies of the Justus-Liebig-University in Gießen and has served as the artistic director of the International Festival of the Arts Ruhrtriennale. His compositions are known for their sensuality, diversity, and emotional depth, making him a standout figure in contemporary music.
