      About Lívia Rév

      Lívia Rév, born in Budapest in 1916, was a remarkable Hungarian classical concert pianist whose career spanned nearly a century. Recognized for her prodigious talent from a young age, Rév won the Grand Prix des Enfants Prodiges at just nine years old, showcasing her extraordinary musical gifts. Her journey took her to Paris, where she resided with her husband Pierre Aubé until her passing in 2018 at the age of 101. Rév's discography is celebrated for its depth and artistry, particularly her highly regarded recordings of Debussy, Chopin, and Liszt. Her performances are not just musical experiences but also journeys through the rich tapestry of romanticism, making her a timeless figure in the world of classical piano.
