      Dave Glasser is a distinguished alto saxophonist, composer, and educator, hailing from New York City. With a career spanning over four decades, Glasser has established himself as a veteran of the jazz scene, having performed extensively with legendary acts like the Clark Terry Quintet and the Count Basie Orchestra. His sound is uniquely personal, deeply rooted in the rich traditions of hard bop, bebop, and cool jazz. A devoted educator, Glasser has been a faculty member at the New School for over 20 years, nurturing the next generation of jazz musicians. Born in 1962, Glasser's musical journey began with formal training at the Eastman School of Music, where he earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees. His extensive experience and dedication to the art form make him a standout figure in the world of jazz.
