      Album Details

Gautier Capuçon's 'Emotions' is a masterfully curated collection of classical and chamber music pieces, released on 6 November 2020 via Warner Classics. This exquisite album showcases Capuçon's technical prowess and emotional depth, as he navigates a diverse range of compositions. From the serene beauty of Debussy's 'Clair de lune' and Satie's 'Gymnopédie No. 1', to the dramatic intensity of Dvorák's 'Song to the Moon' and Tchaikovsky's 'Valse sentimentale', each piece is meticulously orchestrated by Ducros, highlighting Capuçon's expressive playing style.

The album's 17-track journey, spanning 1 hour and 17 minutes, also features stunning arrangements of beloved classics, including Schubert's 'Ave Maria', Fauré's 'Pavane', and Elgar's 'Nimrod'. Additionally, Capuçon's own transcription of Monti's 'Csárdás' demonstrates his technical virtuosity, while his rendition of Cohen's 'Hallelujah' showcases his ability to convey profound emotion.

With 'Emotions', Gautier Capuçon invites listeners to immerse themselves in a world of beauty and feeling, where the boundaries between classical and contemporary music are effortlessly blurred. The result is a captivating and deeply moving listening experience, one that will resonate with fans of chamber music and classical enthusiasts alike.
