      Album Details

Dive into the enchanting world of Lambert Wilson with his captivating album "Démons & Merveilles," released on January 1, 1997, under the prestigious Virgin Classics label. This 56-minute musical journey is a testament to Wilson's versatility and artistry, blending timeless classics with his unique interpretation.

The album opens with "Le tourbillon," setting the stage for a collection that seamlessly weaves through various moods and melodies. From the nostalgic charm of "La complainte de la butte" to the romantic allure of "Amour, mon cher amour," each track offers a glimpse into Wilson's expressive range. The inclusion of "Mouvement d'automne (les feuilles mortes)" adds a touch of melancholy, while "Paradis perdu" evokes a sense of longing and introspection.

Wilson's rendition of "Quand on s'promène au bord de l'eau" and "A la belle étoile" showcases his ability to infuse traditional songs with a fresh perspective. The album also features lesser-known gems like "Trois petites notes de musique," adding a layer of depth and intrigue.

"Démons & Merveilles" is not just an album; it's an experience that highlights Lambert Wilson's exceptional talent and his ability to breathe new life into beloved songs. Whether you're a longtime fan or new to his work, this album is a delightful exploration of music that transcends time and genre.
