      Album Details

Isabelle van Keulen, a renowned violinist, presents a captivating collection of violin sonatas by three French masters: Claude Debussy, Gabriel Fauré, and Francis Poulenc. Released on March 31, 1995, under the prestigious Deutsche Grammophon label, this album is a testament to Van Keulen's virtuosity and her deep understanding of these works.

The album opens with Debussy's Violin Sonata in G Minor, a piece known for its unique blend of impressionism and classical structure. Van Keulen's interpretation brings out the sonata's intricate details and subtle nuances, offering a fresh perspective on this well-loved work.

Next, the album features Fauré's Violin Sonata No. 1 in A Major, Op. 13.
