      David Grimal is a renowned French violinist, born in 1973, who began his musical journey at the tender age of five. His prodigious talent was recognized early, leading him to win the First Prize in both violin and chamber music at the prestigious Conservatoire de Paris in 1993. Grimal's artistic development was further enriched under the tutelage of esteemed musicians such as Philippe Hirschhorn, Shlomo Mintz, and the legendary Isaac Stern.

      Throughout his illustrious career, David Grimal has captivated audiences worldwide with his virtuosic performances, establishing himself as a leading solo violinist on the international stage. His repertoire spans a wide range of genres, with a particular focus on chamber music. In 2021, Grimal joined the ranks of violinists who have recorded Bach's complete solo works multiple times, a testament to his deep musical insight and technical mastery.
