      About Marius Constant

      Marius Constant, born in Bucharest in 1925, was a Romanian-born French composer and conductor whose musical journey spanned continents and genres. A prodigious talent, Constant studied under legendary figures such as Nadia Boulanger, Olivier Messiaen, and Georges Enesco. His compositions, ranging from ballet scores to avant-garde pieces, have left an indelible mark on the classical world. However, Constant is perhaps best known for his iconic guitar theme for the television series "The Twilight Zone," a piece that has become synonymous with the show's eerie and intriguing atmosphere. Beyond his compositions, Constant founded the Ensemble Ars Nova in 1963, further cementing his influence in the music world. His legacy continues to inspire, blending classical rigor with innovative spirit.
