      About Clifford Brown

      Clifford Brown, born in Wilmington, Delaware in 1930, was a prodigious jazz trumpeter whose brief career left an indelible mark on the genre. Influenced by the great Fats Navarro, he possessed a warm, rich sound and a deep understanding of jazz harmony.
