      About Erich Kunzel

      Erich Kunzel, affectionately dubbed the "Prince of Pops" by the Chicago Tribune, was an American orchestra conductor renowned for his dynamic and innovative approach to pops music. Born in New York City in 1935, Kunzel's career spanned over three decades, during which he led the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra to international acclaim. Under his baton, the orchestra recorded over 125 albums, selling more than 10 million copies worldwide and earning multiple Grammy Awards.
