      Album Details

Bracha Eden presents a captivating journey through the classical piano repertoire with her album "Brahms: Sonata for 2 Pianos; Saint-Saëns: Variations for Two Pianos on a Theme of Beethoven." Released on January 14, 1968, under Decca Music Group Ltd., this album showcases Eden's mastery of the piano and her deep understanding of the classical genre.

The album is divided into two main sections, beginning with Johannes Brahms' Sonata for 2 Pianos in F Minor, Op. 34b. This four-movement sonata is a testament to Brahms' compositional prowess and Eden's ability to bring out the intricate details of the piece. The second section features Camille Saint-Saëns' Variations on a Theme of Beethoven, Op. 35. This set of variations is a brilliant display of Saint-Saëns' musical ingenuity and Eden's technical skill, as she navigates through the varying tempos and moods of each variation.

Bracha Eden's performance is marked by her precise articulation, dynamic control, and expressive phrasing, making this album a delightful addition to any classical music enthusiast's collection.
