      Greg Abate is a renowned jazz saxophonist and flutist, celebrated for his high-energy performances and innovative compositions. Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, and raised in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, Abate's musical journey began in the fifth grade when he picked up the clarinet. His talent quickly flourished, leading him to Berklee College of Music in Boston. After graduation, Abate played lead alto saxophone with the legendary Ray Charles Orchestra, an experience he cherishes deeply. With over 16 albums to his name, Abate's discography is a testament to his versatility, spanning genres from bebop to hard bop.
